Welcome to CXK9! I'm David, a dedicated dog trainer in New Zealand with a lifelong passion for animals.

Growing up i was always bonding with and training animals. I found dogs to be the most responsive and rewarding to work with. In 2019, I turned my passion into a profession.
​
I am currently undergoing certification in KNPV dog training and am a registered dog trainer with the IACP - International Association of Canine Professionals.
I use scientifically proven training methods, based on classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and drive theory.
By reading each individual dog and tailoring training to their breed, temperament, training competency and age, I ensure effective and personalized training experiences.

With extensive experience working with dogs of all ages and breeds, I have rehabilitated dogs with severe aggression, taught basic to advanced tasks, and led classes for puppies and adult dogs. My broad expertise from basic to advanced training allows me to handle a wide range of dog training needs.

At CXK9, we offer comprehensive services, including in-person, in-home, and day training, with specialized plans like ABC - All Basics Covered, Firm Foundations, and Chasing Excellence. Let’s work together to achieve excellent behavior and obedience for your dog.
